Project Scope
To enhance the air management and kitchen ventilation systems at Culver's, ensuring a comfortable environment and safe dining feels that aligns with their high standards of customer service.
HVAC Products & Services Provided:
- Installation of Advanced HVAC Systems:
- Fitted 5 roof curbs for 2 outside air rooftop units (RTUs) and 3 exhaust fans.
- Installed exhaust, supply, and return ducts connected to 64 air devices and ceiling-mounted exhaust fans.
- Added two Accurex kitchen hoods with welded grease duct and stainless wall covering in the kitchen.
Collaboration and Expertise:
- Teamed up with GWS for comprehensive gas piping installation from the gas meter to the RTUs, kitchen appliances, water heater, and venting exhaust for the water heater.

Syberg's is a valued commercial client of ours. For this recent project, we were proud to partner up with one of our contractors, BBi Constructors. They had contacted us and we were able to provide them with a quality Design-Build project to meet all their mechanical, timeline and budget needs.
About Syberg's
Location: 5856 Suemandy Dr., St. Peters, MO 63376
Syberg's is a well-known St. Louis restaurant which is famous for its one-of-a-kind wing sauce. In addition to the wings, they also serve shark on the menu. While Sybergs originally started as a catering business in 1975, it grew into a popular chain of restaurants in the St. Louis region which has been a St. Louis classic for nearly 40 years. In 2018 Sybergs decided to add another restaurant (a St. Peters, MO location) to their chain of restaurants. This location was formerly a Joe’s Crab Shack.
Proposed Solution
Upon being contacted, we started on the Design-Build layout. Because the existing building required a complete renovation, our estimate included the demo for the existing equipment which included (5) RTU package units with accessories, installing new kitchen makeup air units, new wrap insulated duct and duct runs, and hanging exposed spiral in open areas including the installation of over 100 devices. We also expanded the parking area by moving units to the roof. To do this, BBi built a platform over the entrance where a crane was used to place the units; this also will make future servicing safe.
The Outcome
This project had a completion date set for January 2019. It had taken many trades, many working hours and 4+ months but the project was completed and within the customer's schedule. We are happy to turn another successful project over to customers like BBi Constructors and Syberg's.
